What cookies and browser storage do

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by a browser for a website. Local and session storage are other browser storage mechanisms. Their purpose and duration depend on the feature that uses them.

Current website behaviour

The current website code does not set application cookies or use local or session storage. It contains no analytics or advertising tracking scripts. Navigation, language links, product filtering and galleries work without saving a preference between visits. Social-media icons are ordinary external links, rather than embedded tracking widgets.

Cloudflare provides the website hosting and may apply security features through its service configuration. The cookies and storage actually present on the formal domain, including any Cloudflare security cookies, still need to be checked before release. This draft therefore does not claim that every hosted visit is cookie-free.

Turnstile protection

The enabled enquiry pages on www.billled.com load Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile processes security signals to distinguish human visitors from automated submissions; this involves data processing even if a particular setup does not set a cookie.

Cloudflare's optional pre-clearance feature can issue a cf_clearance cookie. Pre-clearance is currently disabled for the BILLLED widget; any other security storage and cookie lifetimes still need to be checked on the deployed website. Your choices

You can inspect, block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary security storage can affect a protected feature. Optional analytics or advertising storage is not part of the current website. If optional storage is introduced later, the policy and any consent controls must be reviewed before it is activated.

The legal classification of each deployed storage feature and any required consent controls remain subject to review; this draft does not assume that every security feature is exempt from consent.
